Stamp Ink Paper #152 - Makeup card with the challenge colours

Image
Hi Everyone, Welcome to this week's challenge at Stamp Ink Paper I've used cardstock of Whisper White & Basic black plus a few new colours and a returning colour for my card.  They are Highland Heather, Gorgeous Grape, Granny Apple Green & Coastal Cabana.  As well as cardstock I also used a little Washi tape from my stash and a greeting from the Perennial Birthday stamp set. I thought this card would be perfect for a Teenage girl with the Eyeshadow Quad and Nail polishes and I found my inspiration for this card on Pinterest.  We have several birthdays coming up so this one will be needed soon. Thanks so much for joining us this week at Stamp Ink Paper  for this weeks challenge.  All the design team cards are so different and we hope they give you lots of inspiration.  The team can't wait to see what you create with our challenge colours.  Have a great day.

Stamp Ink Paper #151 - 18th Birthday Easel Card for ABC's & 123's challenge

Hi everyone, Welcome to this week's challenge at Stamp Ink Paper I needed an 18th Birthday card, so thats how this came about for the challenge.  In fact I will need a couple of them for my daughters friends over the next several weeks, so this challenge was a great motivator for me. The cardstock I've used is Basic Black, Real Red and Whisper White which I've combined with a preprinted Concept Card kit from Kanban.  We used to sell this type of product when I worked in a Craft store and I've had a bunch of them in my stash for years. The Large Number dies were used to cut out the 18 and the Celebrate You thinlits for the greeting on the base panel of the Easel card.  This White panel was embossed with the sequin embossing folder and the whole section raised on 3D foam strips to create an anchor for the easel. I've taken side view photographs of each side to show how the card sits. Thanks so much for joining us this wee

Stamp Ink Paper #150 - A Dragonfly Easel card for the Fancy Folds challenge

Image
Hi everyone, Welcome to this week's challenge at Stamp Ink Paper to create a Fancy Fold card. I love Easel cards and while that aren't that fancy, they truly are one of my favourite types of cards to make when I want to make an impact for a special occasion.  I've created this card below for a friend in the US who got married recently and who loves dragonflies. I've used a Shimmer White base for my card and combined cardstock of Berry Burst, Perfect Plum Whisper White and Gold Foil for the dragonfly.  The patterned paper is from the special pack called Painted with Love. Here is the inside of the Easel card using a die from the Sunshine Wishes pack.  The heart was cut from Berry Burst card. Here's a closer look at the dragonfly below The Newlyweds stamp comes from the Teeny Tiny Sentiments stamp set and I've punched it out with the retired Modern Label punch.  I have to say its still a favourite as well.

Hi everyone, Welcome to this week's challenge at Stamp Ink Paper .  We look forward to you joining us for our themed challenge. Here's my card using the Apron of Love bundle from the Stampin' Up Occasions Catalogue.  I've used some retired Dsp and cardstock of Island Indigo, Whisper White and some Champagne foil. I particularly like how the utensils look cut from the foil, just so cute.  Thank you for joining us this week for our Dads and Grands challenge at Stamp Ink Paper.   Just by playing along you could score a Guest spot on the Design Team.  We look forward to seeing your creations in the challenge. Stamp Ink Paper #148 - Farmhouse Chic Floral Birthday

Hi everyone, Welcome to this week's challenge at Stamp Ink Paper .  We have a theme for you this week with an inspirational pic. I've used some of the retiring cardstock in Elegant Eggplant for the base of my card combined with some retired lace paper and some paper flowers and Organza ribbon from my stash.  The label is a sneak peek into something coming from a new suite of products I've just preordered and the Woodgrain paper is current. The Happy Birthday greeting is stamped in Elegant Eggplant ink with a vintage set from my stash I've retained called Well Scripted.  I don't plan on ever getting rid of that stamp set.  Its one of my  all time favourites. Thanks so much for joining us this week at Stamp Ink Paper .  We can't wait to see your take on this weeks Farmhouse Chic challenge. Have a great week, Carolyn xx
