Paper Craft Crew 261 - Copper Dragonfly Square card

Image
Hello and welcome, Here's this week's Colour challenge at the Paper Craft Crew For this challenge I used those 3 colours above Tranquil Tide, Copper and Lemon Lime Twist.  Here's my card.  There is another version of the Colour challenge where you have the option to use a 4th Colour - Calypso Coral, however these three were enough for me. Embossing texture past was used on the Whisper White background and that was spritzed.  I've used the Detailed Dragonfly thinlits here and the Flourish thinlits with the Copper foil and I've used the Stitched Shapes framelits for the greeting.  Here's a closeup of the dragonfly. Here's a closer look at the layered greeting. Thanks so much for joining us this week at the Paper Craft Crew .  Can't wait to see your creation in our Colour challenge.  Have a great day. Stamp, Ink, Paper #118 - Year of Cheer Gift Box

Image
Hi Everyone, Welcome to our challenge this week at Stamp, Ink, Paper.   You are invited to submit anything but a card this week. Here's what I created for this week's challenge. I've used some Year of Cheer specialty dsp along with some Whisper White card and one of our Foil snowflakes to create and decorate this box and tag.  The stamped "Just for you" comes from the set Merry Little Labels and I've also used the "To & From" (not photographed) on the reverse side of the snowflake tag. I've tied Burlap ribbon around my box and tied the tag onto it.  Here's a closeup of my tag.  The image was stamped with Crumb Cake ink. This picture shows the back of the box.  Note the notching to allow ease of removal of the lid. I hope you enjoyed seeing my project and all of the others from the Design Team this week at the Stamp, Ink, Paper challenge.  See you there. Carolyn xx

Stamp, Ink, Paper #117 - Watercoloured Flourishing Phrases for Renae

Image
Hi Everyone, Welcome to this week's Stamp, Ink, Paper challenge. Here's my card using Flourishing Phrases, coloured with Watercolour Pencils and Aqua pen & Birthday Blast retired stamp set.  The cardstock is Fresh Fig and Whisper White. This card was especially created for a friend of my daughters, obviously turning 18. I've used the Large Number dies and the Eclipse card technique which has been all over Pinterest of late using the Large Alphabet dies which I don't have yet.  I think it came up quite well though. I've tried taking pics from a couple of angles to show the dimention on the 18.  It was raised with the Foam strips that we normally use for shaker boxes to give extra height. Thanks so much for joining us this week at Stamp, Ink, Paper .  Can't wait to see your Watercoloured projects. Have a great day. Carolyn xx

Paper Craft Crew 259 - Balloon Happy Birthday

Image
Hello from Downunder, Welcome to this week's Inspiration challenge at the Paper Craft Crew  I took the colours from this picture as my inspiration and used Balloons on my background from the Balloon Adventures stamp set.  I also thought I'd like to try the Eclipse technique.  I don't have the Large Letter dies but though I would try it with the Happy Birthday thinlits as I'd seen others do.  Here is the result. My cardstock is Island Indigo and Whisper White.  My Inks are Peekaboo Peach, Sweet Sugarplum, Real Red and Island Indigo. Here's a closeup from a different angle to show the dimention.  I cut down our Foam strips to use to give the height. Thanks so much for stopping by today.  We hope you will join us in this week's challenge at the Paper Craft Crew ,  Have a great day. Carolyn  xx

Stamp, Ink, Paper #116 - CAS Sympathy card

Image
Hi Everyone, Welcome to the CAS Fall themed challenge we have for you this week at Stamp, Ink, Paper . I've chosed to incoporate Copper Foil leaves on my card cut with the Seasonal Layer thinlit dies.  Fall or Autumn as it is known here in Australia isn't something we celebrate but I've taken this opportunity to create a CAS Sympathy card.  The Sympathy greeting comes from the stamp set  Rose Wonder and I've used the Card Front Builder thinlits from a Christmas bundle to create a frame on my card. The cardstock I've used is Soft Suede, Crumb Cake & Very Vanilla with the Copper Foil for the leaves and I've used Cajun Craze ink for the greeting which was the closest I had to the Copper colour.  Here's a closeup of those diecut leaves. Thanks for joining us this week.  I sure hope you are inspired to create a Clean and Simple Fall card and submit it to the gallery for our challenge here at Stamp, Ink, Paper .  Have a great day. Ca

Eastern Medallion Christmas Cards

Image
Hi Everyone, A while ago now I made these cards for my Christmas in July cardmaking class and I neglected to post them at the time. I am now catching up as a few people had asked to see them. The colours used for all the cards were Tranquil Tide, Cherry Cobbler, Very Vanilla and Gold Foil.  I've used embossing folders of Holly and Oh My Stars with Eastern Medallion framelits and Vinyl stickers. Thanks so much for stopping by.  I hope you like the cards and you'll leave me some feedback.  I love hearing from you.  Have a great day. Carolyn xx

Masculine Cards

Image
Hi everyone, Here's a collection of cards that I displayed at my last class, just in time for Father's Day here in Australia. A couple of Chalkboard Cards were made for the challenge teams I'm on and a couple of the Coffee Suite cards were inspired by others I've seen on some card groups I'm in.  Unfortunately I can't credit the designer that inspired me cause I couldn't find the cards again. Thanks so much for stopping by and don't forget to leave me a comment. Have a great day. Carolyn xx

Stamp, Ink, Paper #115 - Awesomely Artistic Birthday card

Image
Hi Everyone, Welcome to this week's colour challenge at Stamp, Ink, Paper Here's our colours I've combined some old and new for my card using the stamp set Awesomely Artistic. I've also used the Embossing paste and stencil on the background of the card and used a sentiment from the Petite Pairs retired stamp set.  The background has been misted with watered down Bermuda Bay ink. Although I'm not a Yello person, I do like the combination of these colours.  The Yellow Flowers were fussy cut and raised with dimentionals over the circles cut with Layered Circle framelits. We hope you will join us for this week's colour challenge at Stamp, Ink, Paper Carolyn xx
