Hi Everyone, Welcome to this week's sketch challenge at Stamp, Ink, Paper .  Here's our sketch from Lisa this week. As I'm prepping for Christmas in July, here's one of the cards I've made for display using Eastern Medallions in Christmasy colours.  The cardstock is Cherry Cobbler, Tranquil Tide, Very Vanilla and Gold Foil.  I've embossed the Very Vanilla background with Oh My Stars embossing folder and used the Stiched Shapes framelits for the greeting. Here's a closeup of the layered medallion. Here's a closer look at the greeting. Thanks for joining us this week at Stamp, Ink, Paper .  We look forward to seeing your creations.  Have a great day. Paper Craft Crew 252 - Eastern Medallion Christmas

Image
Hi Everyone Welcome to our sketch challenge this week at the Paper Craft Crew .  Here's our sketch. As I'm currently prepping for my Christmas in July class I thought it was appropriate to make another Christmas card using the framelits I'm currently playing with called Eastern Medallions.  Though the bundle was not designed for Christmas cards I saw ornaments when I saw these framelits and thought I could make them look Christmassy. Here's my card using cardstock of Cherry Cobbler, Very Vanilla, Tranquil Tide and Gold Foil.  The Very Vanilla background was embossed with the Oh My Stars embossing folder and one of the matching Eastern Vinyl stickers was added to the Cherry Cobbler die. The Merry Christmas greeting comes from a retired set called Petite Pairs and its been cut with the Stitched Shape Framelits.  I've added a banner, Gold Tassel and Gold ribbon and we are done. Thanks for joining us this week at the Paper Craft Crew .  H

Image
Hi Everyone, Welcome to our challenge this week at Stamp, Ink, Paper. With all the wonderful florals to chose from this should be a fantastic challenge and I can't wait to see the gallery full of entries we will receive.  Here's mine. This card has been especially made for another 18th Birthday for one of my daughter's friends.  I've used Fresh Florals designer paper with Berry Burst and Whisper White cardstock and some Gold Foil.  I also used the Daisy Delight bundle on this card stamped in Berry Burst and painted with Wink of Stella pen. The picture below shows the card opened. Large Number dies were used to cut the 18 which was adhered to the inside of the card as you can see from the pics side and below. The Happy Birthday thinlit was used for the front of the card.  This design was inspired by another Demonstrator, Amanda Bates.  I used this Z Fold design in my last class and have those cards featured below.  This Berry Burst o

Pink Baby Bear Card

Hi Everyone, I was asked to make a Baby girl card featuring timber to match the nursery of the home of a beautiful newborn baby girl. This is what I created using the Baby Bear stamp set along with paper from the Wood Textures designer paper stack. The cardstock is the new Powder Pink combined with Whisper White.  Stitched shape framelits were used for the greeting. There's a closeup of the greeting I know the card was appreciated. I'd love some feedback on what you think as I love hearing from you and thanks for stopping by.

Stamp, Ink, Paper 107 - Hello Baby Bear

Image
Hi Everyone, Welcome to this week's challenge at Stamp, Ink, Paper .  The question is what will you create with this week's Tic Tac Toe board. I was commissioned to make a Baby Girl card this week, so while I had my supplies out I decided that I could make a Baby Boy card in Blue while I was at it.  I thought the top row across - Blue, Die Cut and Twine could work for me.  Here's my card using the Baby Bear stamp set. I've also used the new Crate die to put my bear into and the Stitched Shape die Oval die to cut my greeting. The paper used on the background is from the Wood Textures stack and the cardstock used here is Marina Mist (Blue), Whisper White and Crumb Cake. Thanks for joining us this week for our Tic Tac Toe board.  We look forward to seeing your creation in the Gallery at Stamp, Ink, Paper.     Have a fantastic day.

Stamp, Ink, Paper #106 - Christmas in July with Eastern Medallions

Image
Hi Everyone, Happy 4th to those of you in the US. Welcome to our Christmas themed challenge this week at Stamp, Ink, Paper .  May I add if you're downunder like me, this is the perfect time of year to start creating for Christmas.  My Christmas card classes always start in July to get the stash of cards happening and get everyone's creative Christmas juices flowing.  While you in the Northern hemisphere are in their Summer, its the middle of our Winter here and its very nice to spend some time inside crafting. Here's what I've come up with for our challenge this week.  I've actually made not one, but 2 cards using the Eastern Medallions new framlits and matching vinyl stickers, some layering and circle framelits. Here's the first one with Cardstock Tranquil Tide, Gold Foil and Very Vanilla.  This greeting comes from the stamp set Oh What Fun. Here's the second card using Fresh Fig and Whisper White.  I was able to incorporate one

50th Birthday Card for Christine

Image
Hi Everyone, My Sister Christine celebrated a milestone Birthday last week and now I can share the card I made for her. This is a Twisted Easel card, some call them Angled Easels and I've used it for a base to try out my Brand new Ochid Bundle that I just received.  As it's my sister's 50th I had to incorporate Gold which I've done with Gold Foil leaves from the May Flower framelits and the specialty paper from the Eastern Palace designer paper pack. The cardstock used is Rich Razzleberry, Very Vanilla and new In Colour Powder Pink. Here is a closer look at those flowers. I strategically placed the 50 I cut from the Gold Foil board on the inside of the card cut with the Large Number dies and used an old favourite birthday greeting from the Well Scripted stamp set.  I also added a Bitty Gold butterfly. I'm really happy with this card and hope she liked it as much as I did. Thanks so much for stopping by and have a fabulous day.
