Paper Craft Crew 269 - Color Me Happy Birdies

Image
Hi Everyone,

Thank you for joining us this week at the Paper Craft Crew.  We have a themed challenge this week "Very Vintage" and I have to say my card is probably more on the Fresh Vintage side.  What do you think?  Anyway I can't wait to see what you create for this challenge.

Here's my card using the Color Me Happy stamp set.

I've used the Layered Leaves Embossing folder on the background and sponged it with a little Soft Suede ink.  The Cardstock is Blushing Bride, Crumb Cake, Pool Party and Whisper White.  I've also used our new Stampin Blends to colour in the birdies.

Here is a closer look

These birdies are so easy to colour

Thanks so much for stopping by today.  I hope you like my card and I hope you enjoy this weeks theme at the Paper Craft Crew.  Have a great day.

Stamp, Ink, Paper #126 - Color Me Happy Thank You

Image
Hello Everyone,

Its challenge time at Stamp, Ink, Paper.  This week's theme is Thankful, Grateful, Blessed.

We don't celebrate Thanksgiving like they do in the US so my card is a simple Thank You instead.
Here's my card using stamps from the Color Me Happy stamp set coloured with our new Stampin Blends.  The card front is what my ladies used for practice colouring with our first play of these new products.

Here's a closeup of the greeting

Thanks so much for stopping by today.  We look forward to seeing your entry for this weeks challenge.  Have a great day.

Stamp, Ink, Paper #125 - Colour challenge Masculine Birthday

Image
Hi everyone,

Welcome to this week's colour challenge at Stamp, Ink, Paper to use Dark Brown, Yellow, Rust/Orange.

This is what I've come up with for the challenge.  They aren't really colours I love but they did look manly to me so I decided to go masculine.   I've featured the Happy Birthday thinlits for my card and used some retired dsp & cardstock also with some dsp from the Coffee Break.

Here's a closer look.

Thanks so much for joining us this week at Stamp, Ink, Paper.  Can't wait to see your creation with these colours.  Have a great day.

Paper Craft Crew 267 - Tic Tac Toe Season's Greetings

Image
Hi Everyone,

Its Wednesday once again so its time for our challenge at the Paper Craft Crew.  This time we have a Tic Tac Toe board for you to play along with.  Choose any line you like, Vertical, Horizontal or Diagonal.  We can't wait to see what you make.

Here's my card using up some retired Winter Wonderland specialty dsp and retired embossing folder Pine Bough with a current stamp set which is a favourite at the moment called Snowflake Sentiments.  The cardstock is Crumb Cake.

I've used the first vertical row from the Tic Tac Toe Board "Holiday Celebrations, Natural Elements and Favourite stamp set".  I'm quite pleased with how this turned out, being a very quick CAS card.  Here's a closeup.

Looking forward to seeing your creation in the gallery this week at the Paper Craft Crew.

Thanks so much for joining us and have a great day.

Stamp, Ink, Paper #124 - Ladies Day at the Races Easel Card

Image
Hi Everyone,

Welcome to our themed challenge this week at Stamp, Ink, Paper.

So I've changed mine slightly to Ladies Day at the Races, in honour of our Melbourne Cup race today here in Australia.  This is my card.

I've made an Easel card and used Beautiful You and Mixed Drinks stamp sets for the images.  I've also used the Layering Oval framelits.  The Cardstock I've used is Watermelon Wonder, Blushing Bride and Whisper White.  The patterned paper is from the Birthday Bouquet (retired) designer paper pack.

This is the side view of the card to show how the Easel sits and the pic below is a closer look at the card front.  I've used our new Alcohol markers called Stampin' Blends to colour the images.

Here's a closer look

This is a closeup of the bottom panel greeting.  I've used the set Colour me Happy set for the greeting.

So glad you could join us today.  We do hope you will create a card and join us in the challenge this week too.  Have a great day.

Image
Hi Everyone,

Welcome to our challenge this week at Stamp Ink Paper.  Its sketch time and we look forward to seeing your take on this one.

For my card I didn't quite stick to the sketch.  I opted to make a long skinny card instead.  Here's my card for this week's challenge.

The cardstock I've used is Basic Black and Whisper White combined with Champagne Foil.  The patterned paper comes from the Merry Music pack.   Stamps are from the Snowflake Sentiments set.

I've used the Triple banner punch and the Everyday Label punch to complete this card.

Thanks so much for joining us this week at Stamp, Ink, Paper.  Can't wait to see your take on this weeks sketch.

Have a great day.

Dylan's 18th Birthday Card

Image
Hi everyone,

My daughter's University friends are all having birthdays and I made this one recently for Dylan.

I got out a retired set called Rev up the Fun for this easel card.

The cardstock is Very Vanilla and Night of Navy and I've used the Large Letter dies here for the 18 with a simple version of the Eclipse technique.

Here's the greeting used to anchor the easel.

This is the side view to show how the Easel sits.

Thanks for stopping by today, I hope you've enjoyed seeing my card.  Have a great day.

Stamp, Ink, Paper #121 - Tic Tac Toe Wreath Card

Image
Hi Everyone,

Welcome to this week's Tic Tac Toe challenge at Stamp, Ink, Paper.  Here's the board we are playing with.  You may choose to go Vertical, Horizontal or Diagonal.

I've decided to go Diagonal for my Christmas Card using Diecut, Wood and Twine.  The cardstock I've used is Sahara Sand and Real Red with some paper from the Wood Textures paper stack.

I've used the Boxwood Wreath embellishment from the Holiday catty on this card combined with Twine to create a wreath on the front door look and the die is from the Christmas Greetings thinlits.

I hope you like my card and leave me a little comment so I know you've visited.  I enjoy hearing from you and hope you will play along with the Tic Tac Toe board.

For more inspiration please view the cards in the Gallery from our talented team.  Thanks for joining us this week at Stamp, Ink, Paper.

Have a great day.

Image
Hi Everyone,

Welcome to this week's challenge at Stamp, Ink, Paper.   You are invited to choose your own theme this week and make a card with your favourite products.  As I just held at Christmas class on the weekend, I'm sharing a Christmas card with you that I made.

The bundle I used was from the Holiday Catalogue and is called Carols of Christmas and contains the cute Card front Builder thinlits which were used to cut out the trees, stars and the deer.

The cardstock is Basic Black, Bermuda Bay and Shimmer White and some Champagne foil.  The Ink is Basic Black and its been spritzed with a few drops of Bermuda Bay ink in water.

Thanks so much for joining us this week at Stamp, Ink, Paper.  We look forward to seeing what you create for Cardmaker's Choice.

Have a great day,

Paper Craft Crew 261 - Copper Dragonfly Square card

Image
Hello and welcome,

Here's this week's Colour challenge at the Paper Craft Crew

For this challenge I used those 3 colours above Tranquil Tide, Copper and Lemon Lime Twist.  Here's my card.  There is another version of the Colour challenge where you have the option to use a 4th Colour - Calypso Coral, however these three were enough for me.

Embossing texture past was used on the Whisper White background and that was spritzed.  I've used the Detailed Dragonfly thinlits here and the Flourish thinlits with the Copper foil and I've used the Stitched Shapes framelits for the greeting.  Here's a closeup of the dragonfly.

Here's a closer look at the layered greeting.

Thanks so much for joining us this week at the Paper Craft Crew.  Can't wait to see your creation in our Colour challenge.  Have a great day.

Stamp, Ink, Paper #118 - Year of Cheer Gift Box

Image
Hi Everyone,

Welcome to our challenge this week at Stamp, Ink, Paper.  You are invited to submit anything but a card this week.

Here's what I created for this week's challenge.

I've used some Year of Cheer specialty dsp along with some Whisper White card and one of our Foil snowflakes to create and decorate this box and tag.  The stamped "Just for you" comes from the set Merry Little Labels and I've also used the "To & From" (not photographed) on the reverse side of the snowflake tag.

I've tied Burlap ribbon around my box and tied the tag onto it.  Here's a closeup of my tag.  The image was stamped with Crumb Cake ink.

This picture shows the back of the box.  Note the notching to allow ease of removal of the lid.

I hope you enjoyed seeing my project and all of the others from the Design Team this week at the Stamp, Ink, Paper challenge.  See you there.
