Swallowtail Celebrate

Hi Everyone,

I missed posting yesterday because of Friday night basketball.  It was the last one for this year, the end of the season and my daughters team remained undefeated.  I'm just a little bit proud of these girls.  They worked so hard this year and improved so much.  We are now looking forward to the break for Christmas holidays.

Today's card features the Swallowtail stamp which I've combined with Butterfly thinlits.  Come and have a look.




The ink used on the Swallowtail stamp is Wisteria Wonder and the cardstock used is Elegant Eggplant and Whisper White.  I've also used some Wisteria Wonder ribbon from my stash and I've had a go at colouring my Celebrate from the Expressions Natural elements with my white chalk pen then Wisteria Wonder Marker.  Here's the finished card.

An Iced Rhinestone finishes off the butterfly centre.  I love layering my butterflies like this.

Hello Everyone, Welcome to our Wednesday card sketch challenge at the Paper Craft Crew.  Here's our sketch this week    I'm using some designer papers called Merry Moments combined with Festival of Trees stamp and greeting from Teeny Tiny Sentiments.  The cardstock used is Whisper White and Smoky Slate with inks of Old Olive and Real Red.  The greeting comes from the Teeny Tiny Sentiments stamp set and has been punched out with the Washi Tape punch. Here's a closer look.  I love how the Designer papers add so much colour this this card.  The Festival of trees stamp has been combined with the Tree punch for this card. Light up your Christmas

Hi Everyone, You all know how I love my Easel Cards right?  Well I've added a little light to them in the form of the little battery operated candles.  Neil bought me some boxes of them online.  I've been playing around with a couple of different designs which are for an upcoming class of very Special Christmas cards with my group but thought you might like to see them.  This is the first one I've done using the retired stamp set Christmas Lodge.  It's a gorgeous set with this beautiful tree and really suits a vintage style Christmas Card.  I've also used the Deco Label Framelits which are fast becoming a favourite and the Beautifully Baroque and Fancy Fan Embossing Folders. The Cardstock is Cherry Cobbler, Early Espresso, Crumb Cake and Very Vanilla. I have the light on so you can see the gorgeous effect from the little candle.  Here is a photo when it's off.
