Blackberry Bliss Just for You Card

Hi Everyone,

How's your Thursday going?  Its a day I like to spend at home catching up on things, like washing and cooking and just of late Thursdays are a day that my eldest daughter leaves school early for so that she can home study, as do most of the senior students now on Thursdays.  We take this opportunity for a short driving lesson, where I let her drive home with her L plates on the car.  Yes its nerve wracking, but its also necessary for her to gain some confidence.

After that, when I settle down I get stuck into the domestic duties, and if time permits, a bit of crafting before I make the return trip to high school for my youngest daughter.

Here's a closeup of the card that I photographed for today's blog post.




The stamp set is called You've Got This stamped in Blackberry Bliss and Soft Sky.  The Cardstock used is Blackberry Bliss, Whisper White and Soft Sky and the patterned paper comes from the In Colour 12 x 12 stack.  The image has been cut with the Lots of Labels Framelits and the greeting with the Bitty Banner Framelits.



I'm happy with how this card turned out despite the bold patterns here.  Thanks for stopping by.

Hello Everyone, Welcome to our Wednesday card sketch challenge at the Paper Craft Crew.  Here's our sketch this week    I'm using some designer papers called Merry Moments combined with Festival of Trees stamp and greeting from Teeny Tiny Sentiments.  The cardstock used is Whisper White and Smoky Slate with inks of Old Olive and Real Red.  The greeting comes from the Teeny Tiny Sentiments stamp set and has been punched out with the Washi Tape punch. Here's a closer look.  I love how the Designer papers add so much colour this this card.  The Festival of trees stamp has been combined with the Tree punch for this card. Light up your Christmas

Hi Everyone, You all know how I love my Easel Cards right?  Well I've added a little light to them in the form of the little battery operated candles.  Neil bought me some boxes of them online.  I've been playing around with a couple of different designs which are for an upcoming class of very Special Christmas cards with my group but thought you might like to see them.  This is the first one I've done using the retired stamp set Christmas Lodge.  It's a gorgeous set with this beautiful tree and really suits a vintage style Christmas Card.  I've also used the Deco Label Framelits which are fast becoming a favourite and the Beautifully Baroque and Fancy Fan Embossing Folders. The Cardstock is Cherry Cobbler, Early Espresso, Crumb Cake and Very Vanilla. I have the light on so you can see the gorgeous effect from the little candle.  Here is a photo when it's off.
