Butterfly Love Card

Hi Everyone,

How was your weekend.  I hope all my US friends enjoyed their 4th of July celebrations yesterday and are have a lovely weekend.  I had a busy Sunday as usual.  It's always up early on Sunday morning for my daughter to take her to work.

Between dropoff and pick up I managed to get a few things done and finished off this card today with some Butterfly die cut bits I already had cut.  Come and have a look.




This is rather a striking combination of Basic Black, Watermelon wonder and Whisper White card together with a little Dazzling Diamonds glimmer paper.  The Watermelon Wonder background has been embossed with the Lovely Lace embossing folder.

I've used the Bold Butterflies and Butterfly thinlit framelits to cut out the butterflies and layered them up on top of each other with one of our new In colour embellishments in the butterfly centre.  Some Basic rhinestones have been added to the card.  Here is the full pic.



The word Love has also been cut from the Dazzling Diamonds glimmer paper with the vintage Expressions thinlits and all the corners of my card have been rounded with my Envelope Maker.

Hello Everyone, Welcome to our Wednesday card sketch challenge at the Paper Craft Crew.  Here's our sketch this week    I'm using some designer papers called Merry Moments combined with Festival of Trees stamp and greeting from Teeny Tiny Sentiments.  The cardstock used is Whisper White and Smoky Slate with inks of Old Olive and Real Red.  The greeting comes from the Teeny Tiny Sentiments stamp set and has been punched out with the Washi Tape punch. Here's a closer look.  I love how the Designer papers add so much colour this this card.  The Festival of trees stamp has been combined with the Tree punch for this card. Light up your Christmas

Hi Everyone, You all know how I love my Easel Cards right?  Well I've added a little light to them in the form of the little battery operated candles.  Neil bought me some boxes of them online.  I've been playing around with a couple of different designs which are for an upcoming class of very Special Christmas cards with my group but thought you might like to see them.  This is the first one I've done using the retired stamp set Christmas Lodge.  It's a gorgeous set with this beautiful tree and really suits a vintage style Christmas Card.  I've also used the Deco Label Framelits which are fast becoming a favourite and the Beautifully Baroque and Fancy Fan Embossing Folders. The Cardstock is Cherry Cobbler, Early Espresso, Crumb Cake and Very Vanilla. I have the light on so you can see the gorgeous effect from the little candle.  Here is a photo when it's off.
