Blackberry Butterfly Flip Card


Hello everyone,

Today I've combined Butterfly Basics stamps with our Label Thinlit card dies to create this elegant Flip card for a friends birthday.




The cardstock I've used is Blackberry Bliss, Smoky Slate, Whisper White and Dazzling Diamonds Glimmer paper.  I've used some retired patterned paper up as well as some current Painted Blooms paper available in the Occasions Catalogue which finishes today.    Here's the full view of the card front.


The Happy Birthday greeting comes from the Label Love stamp set and its punched with the Artisan Label punch.  The Butterfly comes from Butterfly Basics stamp set, as with the Greeting stamped on the flip side which I've about to show you next.  This particular butterfly was cut with the matching framelit from the Butterfly Thinlit dies.

Blackberry Bliss ink was used for all of the stamped images.  Next, I've turned the whole card around to show you the reverse or back side.




I find it interesting to show the card from all sides and angles as they are a little difficult to photograph.  These Card thinlit dies really make it a breeze to create these flip cards.

Hello Everyone, Welcome to our Wednesday card sketch challenge at the Paper Craft Crew.  Here's our sketch this week    I'm using some designer papers called Merry Moments combined with Festival of Trees stamp and greeting from Teeny Tiny Sentiments.  The cardstock used is Whisper White and Smoky Slate with inks of Old Olive and Real Red.  The greeting comes from the Teeny Tiny Sentiments stamp set and has been punched out with the Washi Tape punch. Here's a closer look.  I love how the Designer papers add so much colour this this card.  The Festival of trees stamp has been combined with the Tree punch for this card. Light up your Christmas

Hi Everyone, You all know how I love my Easel Cards right?  Well I've added a little light to them in the form of the little battery operated candles.  Neil bought me some boxes of them online.  I've been playing around with a couple of different designs which are for an upcoming class of very Special Christmas cards with my group but thought you might like to see them.  This is the first one I've done using the retired stamp set Christmas Lodge.  It's a gorgeous set with this beautiful tree and really suits a vintage style Christmas Card.  I've also used the Deco Label Framelits which are fast becoming a favourite and the Beautifully Baroque and Fancy Fan Embossing Folders. The Cardstock is Cherry Cobbler, Early Espresso, Crumb Cake and Very Vanilla. I have the light on so you can see the gorgeous effect from the little candle.  Here is a photo when it's off. JAI176 - Just Add Blokes & CCMC 2nd Entry

Hi Everyone, I thought this weeks Just Add Ink challenge - "Just Add Blokes" was a great opportunity to get in and make a Male card .  For those of you outside Australia, "Blokes" is another name for Men. Today I'm using Mosaic Madness bundle set teamed with a greeting from Loving Thoughts stamp set.  I don't understand why, but the simplest cards seem to take me the longest.  I agonise over them, and yet I can make something much more involved quicker, when I have a clear vision in mind. I've taken the colours for this card from the colour challenge this week for Create with Connie and Mary so this card is doing double duty for both challenges.
