Blackberry Butterfly Flip Card

Image
Hello everyone, Today I've combined Butterfly Basics stamps with our Label Thinlit card dies to create this elegant Flip card for a friends birthday. The cardstock I've used is Blackberry Bliss, Smoky Slate, Whisper White and Dazzling Diamonds Glimmer paper.  I've used some retired patterned paper up as well as some current Painted Blooms paper available in the Occasions Catalogue which finishes today.    Here's the full view of the card front. The Happy Birthday greeting comes from the Label Love stamp set and its punched with the Artisan Label punch.  The Butterfly comes from Butterfly Basics stamp set, as with the Greeting stamped on the flip side which I've about to show you next.  This particular butterfly was cut with the matching framelit from the Butterfly Thinlit dies. Here's the flip side of this card. Blackberry Bliss ink was used for all of the stamped images.  Next, I've turned the whole card around to show you the reverse

From the Herd

Image
Hi Everyone, I'm making one for the boys today.  I'm using a stamp set called From the Herd and its on the funny site.  Perfect if you like to spend the time colouring, but I've decided to go super simple with this card just stamping it directly in Memento black ink onto Smoky Slate card. The cardstock used is Basic Gray, Smoky Slate and Whisper White.  The patterned paper comes from the Paper Stack Adventure Bound.  The greeting was stamped in Real Red ink for a pop of colour in an otherwise neutral card.   The Celebrate stamp actually comes from the set called Good Greetings.  Here's the full pic. I've also used some Pop dots in neutrals to finish off this card.   Thanks so much for stopping by.  Have a good day.

Can You Case It #63

Image
Hello from Australia, It's Sunday, so that means its time for a Can You Case It Challenge.  This week we have a sketch for you below. You can substitute the star for any shape you wish for your card.  This sketch is so versatile and we can't wait to see what you do with it.  Here's mine. I've used the die cut rose element from the Artisan Embellishment kit combined with a Chalkboard tag which I've stamped with Eat Cake stamp set to create a Birthday Card. The cardstock used is Basic Black, Wisteria Wonder, Pink Pirouette and Chalkboard.  I've used the Scallop Tag topper punch to create my tag here and added some White ribbon to the top.  I've used some Dazzling Diamond Glimmer paper to punch a Dotted ribbon border to separate the pink and the diecut on the card front and finished off the whole thing with a Tiny wisteria butterfly cut with the Beautiful Wings die.  Here's a closer look. We hope you will join us this week for our ch

Printed Blooms Just for You

Hello Everyone, I am loving the Printed Blooms designer paper at the moment and there are only a few more days left in which to place your order for it.  Today I've combined the Spring Flowers embossing folder, Butterfly thinlits and Label Love greeting.  Come and take a look. The cardstock used is Blackberry Bliss for the base with Daffodil Delight, Whisper White and Rich Razzleberry.  I've used a button from the Artisan embellishment kit for the butterfly centre topped with a Rhinestone and some vintage Daffodil Delight satin ribbon.  The Pin in non SU.  Here's the full view of my card. The Label Love greeting is punched with the Artisan Label punch.  It's another one of my favourite greeting sets.  I love when you can just stamp and punch. Thanks so much for stopping by.  Have a great weekend.

Hexagon Hive with Painted Blooms

Image
Hello Everyone, Today's card features more of the Painted Blooms designer paper and another beautiful butterfly cut with the Butterfly Thinlit die combined with the Hexagon Hive die.  Here's a closeup so you can see the detail. The cardstock I've used is Daffodil Delight, Basic Black and Whisper White.   I've combined Beautiful Wings die with my Butterfly thinlit to layer up this one and the greeting combes from the Itty Bitty Banners stamp set.  Here's the full pic of the card. I love how the floral pattern peeks through the Hexagons and I adore the colours in that particular sheet which combines Rich Razzleberry and Blackberry Bliss.  I think they go quite well with the yellow, which is a colour I don't use a lot of.   Please leave me a comment if you are dropping by because I'd love to hear from you.  Have a great weekend.

Printed Blooms Wishes

Hello Everyone, I have a very CAS (clean and simple) card to share with you today using the Printed Blooms designer paper available from our Occasions catalogue until the end of this month.  I've cut the piece used for this card from a sheet that would easily be used on a 12 x 12" scrapbook page.  It could easily be used for scrapbooking, but of course I spend all my time these days creating cards.  Come and have a look. The greeting here has been stamped directly onto the patterned paper using the Butterfly Basics stamp set and Rose Red Ink.  The cardstock used is Basic Black and Rose Red.  I've used the Butterfly thinlit dies to cut a Black butterfly.  Here's the full view of the card. Thanks so much for stopping by today to see my card.  Have a great day.

Can You Case It? #62 - Balloon Bash

Image
Hello from Australia, Today's Sunday Challenge is Designers Choice at the Can You Case It? challenge.  Details are below. I'm been playing with the set Balloon Bash this week so I thought I would try out another stamp from the today. The cardstock I've chosen is Pacific Point, Pool Party, Whisper White and some of the Irresistably Yours Designer paper which I've brayered with Pool Party ink.  These are colours I don't work with often so I challenged myself to use them with this stamp set to make a non gender specific birthday card.  All the stamped images were embossed with Pool Party embossing powder. I've used Deco Label and Banner Framelits and Fancy Fan embossing folder on my card this week.  We hope you will join us this week for our challenge.  Please stop by Can You Case It? and view all the wonderful creations this week. Enjoy the rest of your weekend.

Hello Everyone, I'm participating in a challenge today at Freshly Made Sketches .  Yay!  I know its been a long time.  I'm usually on the other end just keeping up with my own posts and designing for teams I'm on, but this particular sketch caught my eye and I had an image stamped which I thought would really suit it. Beth's Birthday Card

Image
Hello Everyone, You know that birthday card I made yesterday that was rejected right?  Today I have the substitute, well the one we settled on anyway.  I think its younger looking using a fun set called Baloon Bash.  Come and have a look. This time around I've used the Circle Thinlit card die combined with cardstock of Wisteria Wonder, Coastal Cabana and Whisper White.  I've also used a little glimmer for some punched stars.  Here is the card from the front view. I've hand cut one of the balloons here stamped with Elegant Eggplant ink and popped it up on dimentionals here.  The other 2 balloons are stamped directly onto the Whisper White card. The Dotted Ribbon border punch was used on the Coastal Cabana card for the edges and I've used Stamp n' write markers for the candles punched out with my 2 1/2 " circle punch. Let me know how you like this one, and have a great day.

A 14th Birthday Flip Card

Image
Hello Everyone, How are you all today.  I've had to pick up my daughter early from school today.  I think there's some nasty bugs going around.  That did impact on my time someone today when I was trying to get a card finished and get my husband packed and travelling back to work this afternoon for his 6 day shift starting tomorrow. Here's the card I've finished.  Unfortunately this one was not acceptable to my daughter for her friend for the weekend.  It's kinda like the Tuna John West rejects - this was the card that Anna rejected, lol. She had said she wanted purple as that is the Birthday girl's favourite colour, so I had started this black flip card and then decided to add the Perfect Plum card to it and coloured the cake image from Big Day sale-a-bration stamp set with my markers.  I've used the Label Thinlit card die to make this flip card.  The are so easy.  Here's the front side. I've used cardstock of Basic Black, Perfect P

Hello from Australia, Welcome to another Wednesday Sketch challenge.  We would love for you to join us this week at the  Paper Craft Crew Challenge. The cardstock used is Coastal Cabana, Sahara Sand, Whisper White and Bermuda Bay.  I've used some vintage dsp from the pack called Eastern Elegance on the background.  I've decided this will be another Mother's Day card with the greeting from the Teeny Tiny Sentiments stamp set cut out with Bitty Banners framelits.   The Sahara Sand banner has been embossed with the Woodgrain embossing folder and the Bermunda Bay strip has been embossed with the Fancy Fan embossing folder.  I've also used a Paper doily on my design which I sponged with Sahara Sand ink. So what do you thing?  This i
