Blackberry Butterfly Basics Birthday

Hello Everyone,

Its a very wet Friday here today.  I'm not complaining about the rain.  I love it.  It cools the place down, it fills our tanks, waters the garden and the lawn.  The only thing I don't like about the rain is if I have to drive in it.  I did have to at one point today and it was so heavy that I could barely see the tail lights of the car in front of me.  That's a little scary.  Other than that it was a pretty good day.  The girls had orthodontist appointments and we have everything that they need for school on Tuesday now.  I completed a card when we got home this evening.

I've used Blackberry Bliss and Whisper White cardstock and inks of Blackberry Bliss, Pistachio Pudding Crumb Cake and Rich Razzleberry for this card which combined Butterfly Basics with Papillon Potpourri butterfly and the Elegant Butterfly punch.  It was a quick card because I had the ferns already stamped on the Whisper White background.  Here is a closeup.





The small butterflies have been stamped directly onto the background card as was the Papillon Potpourri butterfly with Blackberry Bliss ink.  The punched butterfly on top was stamped with Rich Razzleberry and they've all been finished with some Basic pearls.  The card is below.

Hello Everyone, Welcome to our Wednesday card sketch challenge at the Paper Craft Crew.  Here's our sketch this week    I'm using some designer papers called Merry Moments combined with Festival of Trees stamp and greeting from Teeny Tiny Sentiments.  The cardstock used is Whisper White and Smoky Slate with inks of Old Olive and Real Red.  The greeting comes from the Teeny Tiny Sentiments stamp set and has been punched out with the Washi Tape punch. Here's a closer look.  I love how the Designer papers add so much colour this this card.  The Festival of trees stamp has been combined with the Tree punch for this card. Light up your Christmas

Hi Everyone, You all know how I love my Easel Cards right?  Well I've added a little light to them in the form of the little battery operated candles.  Neil bought me some boxes of them online.  I've been playing around with a couple of different designs which are for an upcoming class of very Special Christmas cards with my group but thought you might like to see them.  This is the first one I've done using the retired stamp set Christmas Lodge.  It's a gorgeous set with this beautiful tree and really suits a vintage style Christmas Card.  I've also used the Deco Label Framelits which are fast becoming a favourite and the Beautifully Baroque and Fancy Fan Embossing Folders. The Cardstock is Cherry Cobbler, Early Espresso, Crumb Cake and Very Vanilla. I have the light on so you can see the gorgeous effect from the little candle.  Here is a photo when it's off.
