Bermuda Butterfly Card

Hello Everyone,

How are you this Friday.  Are you looking forward to the weekend as I am?

Today I've made, surprise, surprise, another Butterfly card.  This time I've used the Papillon Potpourri set combined with Butterfly Basics for the greeting and background.  Come and have a look.



I've gold embossed the Happy Birthday Greeting on my Whisper White panel of this card, stamped the honeycomb background with Sahara Sand ink and landed the largest of the Butterflies stamped in Bermuda Bay ink on top.  It's double layered for a shadow effect over some Brushed Gold card punched with the Elegant Butterfly punch.  My Base card is Bermuda Bay and I've used a little of the Gold specialty vellum over it.  The next photo shows the dimention and shadows of the butterflies.




I've also used some coloured Rhinestones on my card.  It's another simple but effective card.  The kind I like to make when I'm pressed for time, like now.   Here's the full picture below.

Hello Everyone, Welcome to our Wednesday card sketch challenge at the Paper Craft Crew.  Here's our sketch this week    I'm using some designer papers called Merry Moments combined with Festival of Trees stamp and greeting from Teeny Tiny Sentiments.  The cardstock used is Whisper White and Smoky Slate with inks of Old Olive and Real Red.  The greeting comes from the Teeny Tiny Sentiments stamp set and has been punched out with the Washi Tape punch. Here's a closer look.  I love how the Designer papers add so much colour this this card.  The Festival of trees stamp has been combined with the Tree punch for this card. Light up your Christmas

Hi Everyone, You all know how I love my Easel Cards right?  Well I've added a little light to them in the form of the little battery operated candles.  Neil bought me some boxes of them online.  I've been playing around with a couple of different designs which are for an upcoming class of very Special Christmas cards with my group but thought you might like to see them.  This is the first one I've done using the retired stamp set Christmas Lodge.  It's a gorgeous set with this beautiful tree and really suits a vintage style Christmas Card.  I've also used the Deco Label Framelits which are fast becoming a favourite and the Beautifully Baroque and Fancy Fan Embossing Folders. The Cardstock is Cherry Cobbler, Early Espresso, Crumb Cake and Very Vanilla. I have the light on so you can see the gorgeous effect from the little candle.  Here is a photo when it's off.
