Apothecary Art Card

Hello Everyone,

Happy Tuesday everyone.  Remember the gorgeous stamp set called Apothecary Art?  It was so elegant.  We seem to have forgotten the older sets when new catalogues come along when we rush off to play with our new goodies.  Today I wanted to use something different.  I wanted to make a beautiful elegant card and this was my choice for today.  Come and have a look.



The image from Apothecary Art has been coloured with the Rich Razzleberry and Old Olive Blendabilities and cut out with the Label Framelits.  The cardstock used is Blackberry Bliss and Whisper White and I've used the Specialty Gold Fancy Foil vellum on the background of this card.  Gives it a lush look.   I really like this vellum and was reminded of it by my friend Justin (who used it yesterday).



Its beautiful and I'm happy how this card has turned out.  Its only missing one small thing....lol.  What do you think?

Hello Everyone, Welcome to our Wednesday card sketch challenge at the Paper Craft Crew.  Here's our sketch this week    I'm using some designer papers called Merry Moments combined with Festival of Trees stamp and greeting from Teeny Tiny Sentiments.  The cardstock used is Whisper White and Smoky Slate with inks of Old Olive and Real Red.  The greeting comes from the Teeny Tiny Sentiments stamp set and has been punched out with the Washi Tape punch. Here's a closer look.  I love how the Designer papers add so much colour this this card.  The Festival of trees stamp has been combined with the Tree punch for this card. Light up your Christmas

Hi Everyone, You all know how I love my Easel Cards right?  Well I've added a little light to them in the form of the little battery operated candles.  Neil bought me some boxes of them online.  I've been playing around with a couple of different designs which are for an upcoming class of very Special Christmas cards with my group but thought you might like to see them.  This is the first one I've done using the retired stamp set Christmas Lodge.  It's a gorgeous set with this beautiful tree and really suits a vintage style Christmas Card.  I've also used the Deco Label Framelits which are fast becoming a favourite and the Beautifully Baroque and Fancy Fan Embossing Folders. The Cardstock is Cherry Cobbler, Early Espresso, Crumb Cake and Very Vanilla. I have the light on so you can see the gorgeous effect from the little candle.  Here is a photo when it's off.
