Blushing Bride Butterfly Fun Frame Card

Hello Everyone,

Remember last week I made an all white card with Blushing Bride ribbon and a vellum butterfly embossed with Blushing Bride embossing powder?  Well I actually made a second card that was very similar, only it had a Soft Suede card base and I embossed the greeting from Blooming with Kindness directly onto the base card using Blushing Bride embossing powder.  Come and have a look.




The butterfly comes from the stamp set Papillon Potpourri, was stamped onto vellum with Versamark ink and then heat embossed with Blushing Bride powder before being punched out with the Elegant Butterfly punch.  It sits in the middle of the panel embossed with the Fun Frames embossing folder.  The full picture of the card is below.

Hello Everyone, Welcome to our Wednesday card sketch challenge at the Paper Craft Crew.  Here's our sketch this week    I'm using some designer papers called Merry Moments combined with Festival of Trees stamp and greeting from Teeny Tiny Sentiments.  The cardstock used is Whisper White and Smoky Slate with inks of Old Olive and Real Red.  The greeting comes from the Teeny Tiny Sentiments stamp set and has been punched out with the Washi Tape punch. Here's a closer look.  I love how the Designer papers add so much colour this this card.  The Festival of trees stamp has been combined with the Tree punch for this card. Light up your Christmas

Hi Everyone, You all know how I love my Easel Cards right?  Well I've added a little light to them in the form of the little battery operated candles.  Neil bought me some boxes of them online.  I've been playing around with a couple of different designs which are for an upcoming class of very Special Christmas cards with my group but thought you might like to see them.  This is the first one I've done using the retired stamp set Christmas Lodge.  It's a gorgeous set with this beautiful tree and really suits a vintage style Christmas Card.  I've also used the Deco Label Framelits which are fast becoming a favourite and the Beautifully Baroque and Fancy Fan Embossing Folders. The Cardstock is Cherry Cobbler, Early Espresso, Crumb Cake and Very Vanilla. I have the light on so you can see the gorgeous effect from the little candle.  Here is a photo when it's off.
