Heart of Christmas

Hello Everyone,

How has the start been to your weekend?  I had a class here at home this morning.  It was a lovely social morning, very enjoyable.

Today I've used another vintage stamp from last year for a Christmas Card I've made called Heart of Christmas.  Come and have a look.



The stamped image has been cut out with Deco Label Framelits.  The cardstock used being Crumb Cake, Early Espresso and Very Vanilla with some patterned paper from the Trim the Tree paper stack and some vintage Early Espresso ribbon.   The full view of the card is below.



I made this simple card to be slipped in with a batch of a customers order of  a dozen assorted cards.   Its for a male, so less fuss required.  Its almost country Christmas, don't you think?

I actually have this particular stamp set for sale in my batch of stamps which must go, but glad I got to use it one more time as its practically still brand new.

Hello Everyone, Welcome to our Wednesday card sketch challenge at the Paper Craft Crew.  Here's our sketch this week    I'm using some designer papers called Merry Moments combined with Festival of Trees stamp and greeting from Teeny Tiny Sentiments.  The cardstock used is Whisper White and Smoky Slate with inks of Old Olive and Real Red.  The greeting comes from the Teeny Tiny Sentiments stamp set and has been punched out with the Washi Tape punch. Here's a closer look.  I love how the Designer papers add so much colour this this card.  The Festival of trees stamp has been combined with the Tree punch for this card. Light up your Christmas

Hi Everyone, You all know how I love my Easel Cards right?  Well I've added a little light to them in the form of the little battery operated candles.  Neil bought me some boxes of them online.  I've been playing around with a couple of different designs which are for an upcoming class of very Special Christmas cards with my group but thought you might like to see them.  This is the first one I've done using the retired stamp set Christmas Lodge.  It's a gorgeous set with this beautiful tree and really suits a vintage style Christmas Card.  I've also used the Deco Label Framelits which are fast becoming a favourite and the Beautifully Baroque and Fancy Fan Embossing Folders. The Cardstock is Cherry Cobbler, Early Espresso, Crumb Cake and Very Vanilla. I have the light on so you can see the gorgeous effect from the little candle.  Here is a photo when it's off.
