Thinking of You

Hello Everyone,

How has your day been?

Mine started off promising with my usual Monday morning Badminton, but did deteriorate a little as the day went on.  I am trying to please everyone, and its not working.

Today I needed a card to lift my spirits, and butterflies usually do that for me.

Come and see what I've made.



The cardstock used is Wisteria Wonder, Elegant Eggplant, Basic Black and Whisper White.  The Butterfly comes from the stamp set Papillon Potpourri and is punched and layered with the matching Elegant Butterfly punch.  My Elegant Eggplant layer was embossed with the Mosaic embossing folder.  The Greeting comes from the set called Peaceful Petals.

I also added silver glimmer paper and some Basic Pearls to this card.   Combining some of my favourite things should help improve my mood shouldn't it.

Hello Everyone, Welcome to our Wednesday card sketch challenge at the Paper Craft Crew.  Here's our sketch this week    I'm using some designer papers called Merry Moments combined with Festival of Trees stamp and greeting from Teeny Tiny Sentiments.  The cardstock used is Whisper White and Smoky Slate with inks of Old Olive and Real Red.  The greeting comes from the Teeny Tiny Sentiments stamp set and has been punched out with the Washi Tape punch. Here's a closer look.  I love how the Designer papers add so much colour this this card.  The Festival of trees stamp has been combined with the Tree punch for this card. Light up your Christmas

Hi Everyone, You all know how I love my Easel Cards right?  Well I've added a little light to them in the form of the little battery operated candles.  Neil bought me some boxes of them online.  I've been playing around with a couple of different designs which are for an upcoming class of very Special Christmas cards with my group but thought you might like to see them.  This is the first one I've done using the retired stamp set Christmas Lodge.  It's a gorgeous set with this beautiful tree and really suits a vintage style Christmas Card.  I've also used the Deco Label Framelits which are fast becoming a favourite and the Beautifully Baroque and Fancy Fan Embossing Folders. The Cardstock is Cherry Cobbler, Early Espresso, Crumb Cake and Very Vanilla. I have the light on so you can see the gorgeous effect from the little candle.  Here is a photo when it's off.
