Festival of Trees Easel Card

Happy Tuesday!

Today I'm sharing a card I've made in a style I really love.  Its an Easel card, not any easel card.  Its a shaped easel using the Deco Label framelits with an stamped and embossed Tree Image from the Festival of Trees set.  Here is the cute tree image I've used.



I've stamped my tree with Bermuda Bay ink and then used versamark ink and embossed the tinsel over the tree with Silver embossing powder.  I've used the Deco Label Framelits and Oval colletion framelits on this card with the Bitty Banners and Oval punch for the greeting.  Here is a side on view, so you can see how this card sits.



The cardstock I've used is Naturals White, Coastal Cabana, Bermuda Bay and Whisper white for the stamped images.  I have always loved Easel cards and I tend to make them quite often.  Here is a full pic of the card from the front.

 


The Merry Christmas sentiment used on this card comes from the Hostess promo stamp set called Good Greetings which I've cut out with the Bitty Banner framelits.

Hello Everyone, Welcome to our Wednesday card sketch challenge at the Paper Craft Crew.  Here's our sketch this week    I'm using some designer papers called Merry Moments combined with Festival of Trees stamp and greeting from Teeny Tiny Sentiments.  The cardstock used is Whisper White and Smoky Slate with inks of Old Olive and Real Red.  The greeting comes from the Teeny Tiny Sentiments stamp set and has been punched out with the Washi Tape punch. Here's a closer look.  I love how the Designer papers add so much colour this this card.  The Festival of trees stamp has been combined with the Tree punch for this card. Light up your Christmas

Hi Everyone, You all know how I love my Easel Cards right?  Well I've added a little light to them in the form of the little battery operated candles.  Neil bought me some boxes of them online.  I've been playing around with a couple of different designs which are for an upcoming class of very Special Christmas cards with my group but thought you might like to see them.  This is the first one I've done using the retired stamp set Christmas Lodge.  It's a gorgeous set with this beautiful tree and really suits a vintage style Christmas Card.  I've also used the Deco Label Framelits which are fast becoming a favourite and the Beautifully Baroque and Fancy Fan Embossing Folders. The Cardstock is Cherry Cobbler, Early Espresso, Crumb Cake and Very Vanilla. I have the light on so you can see the gorgeous effect from the little candle.  Here is a photo when it's off.
