Moonlight Papillon Card


Hello Everyone,

How has the start to your weekend been?  We've spent all day shopping for the girls for some necessities so I haven't had much time to play today. 

I still wanted to play with some of my pre-order so I made a quick butterfly card using the Moonlight Paper Stack with some new In Colours, the Papillon Potpourri stamp set and sentiment from the Work of Art stamp set.  Come and have a look.



The butterfly has been stamped in Lost Lagoon and sponged with Hello Honey then punched and layered onto an Extra Large punched oval and a Chalk Talk tag.  The cardstock used is Smoky Slate, Lost Lagoon, Hello Honey and Whisper White.  The colours are the same as those in the designer paper stack.  Its a colour combo that works very well.  The full view of the card is below.


I've stamped the sentiments separately, stamping "Just For" onto some Lost Lagoon card and "You" directly onto the patterned paper.  I'm quite happy with how this card turned out.  Please feel free to drop me some comments and let me know what you think.

Hello Everyone, Welcome to our Wednesday card sketch challenge at the Paper Craft Crew.  Here's our sketch this week    I'm using some designer papers called Merry Moments combined with Festival of Trees stamp and greeting from Teeny Tiny Sentiments.  The cardstock used is Whisper White and Smoky Slate with inks of Old Olive and Real Red.  The greeting comes from the Teeny Tiny Sentiments stamp set and has been punched out with the Washi Tape punch. Here's a closer look.  I love how the Designer papers add so much colour this this card.  The Festival of trees stamp has been combined with the Tree punch for this card. Light up your Christmas

Hi Everyone, You all know how I love my Easel Cards right?  Well I've added a little light to them in the form of the little battery operated candles.  Neil bought me some boxes of them online.  I've been playing around with a couple of different designs which are for an upcoming class of very Special Christmas cards with my group but thought you might like to see them.  This is the first one I've done using the retired stamp set Christmas Lodge.  It's a gorgeous set with this beautiful tree and really suits a vintage style Christmas Card.  I've also used the Deco Label Framelits which are fast becoming a favourite and the Beautifully Baroque and Fancy Fan Embossing Folders. The Cardstock is Cherry Cobbler, Early Espresso, Crumb Cake and Very Vanilla. I have the light on so you can see the gorgeous effect from the little candle.  Here is a photo when it's off.
