Blackberry Bliss Just for You Gatefold Card

Hello Everyone,

How's your Monday?  I am cold.  We've had a little cold change and it is feeling more like Winter today and will definitefly feel like it overnight.

I wanted to try something a little different for today's card using the Work of Art stamp set in a gatefold style card.   Come and  have a look.


The cardstock used is Blackberry Bliss and Whisper white with a tiny butterfly from Hello Honey card using the Beautiful Wings die.  Sort of my signature trademark.  Just had to slip one in.

I love my Layered Heart feature across the card with the Sentiment stamped on it.  The photo below shows a closeup.



The inks are Hello Honey and Blackberry Bliss and the Hearts were cut with the Hearts Collection framelits.  I also have a photo of the inside of the card to show you how it opens.



And finally, here is the finished card.  I took this photo of it laying flat so that I could hold it closed for photographic purposes.  It will stay closed over time, but at the moment, freshly folded it wants to pop open.  Hence my fingertips showing at the bottom of the pic.

Hello Everyone, Welcome to our Wednesday card sketch challenge at the Paper Craft Crew.  Here's our sketch this week    I'm using some designer papers called Merry Moments combined with Festival of Trees stamp and greeting from Teeny Tiny Sentiments.  The cardstock used is Whisper White and Smoky Slate with inks of Old Olive and Real Red.  The greeting comes from the Teeny Tiny Sentiments stamp set and has been punched out with the Washi Tape punch. Here's a closer look.  I love how the Designer papers add so much colour this this card.  The Festival of trees stamp has been combined with the Tree punch for this card. Light up your Christmas

Hi Everyone, You all know how I love my Easel Cards right?  Well I've added a little light to them in the form of the little battery operated candles.  Neil bought me some boxes of them online.  I've been playing around with a couple of different designs which are for an upcoming class of very Special Christmas cards with my group but thought you might like to see them.  This is the first one I've done using the retired stamp set Christmas Lodge.  It's a gorgeous set with this beautiful tree and really suits a vintage style Christmas Card.  I've also used the Deco Label Framelits which are fast becoming a favourite and the Beautifully Baroque and Fancy Fan Embossing Folders. The Cardstock is Cherry Cobbler, Early Espresso, Crumb Cake and Very Vanilla. I have the light on so you can see the gorgeous effect from the little candle.  Here is a photo when it's off.
