Celebrate Everything Eleanor

Hello Everyone,

Thursday today and I went for a walk with a girlfriend.  Normally we do that on Tuesdays, but a slight change of plans this week.  After some rain overnight it turned into a gorgeous day with blue skies.  It got quite hot and steamy rather quickly which resulted in storms this afternoon and some more cooling rain.  Nice I don't mind the rain so long as there's no damage from the storms that bring it.

Today I decided to make a card with a stamp set I haven't inked in a little while.  It's called Everything Eleanor.  I've gone for a simple design and a colour scheme of Raspberry Ripple, Baja Breeze and Whisper White.  I also added some little touches of gold in the form of butterflies for some elegance.  Come and have a closer look.


The greeting comes from the stamp set Perfectly Penned and the little butterflies are cut with the Beautiful Wings embosslits.  Here's the full view of today's card.



A couple of the flowers have been stamped and fussy cut then raised on dimentionals as well as the greeting panel.

Hello Everyone, Welcome to our Wednesday card sketch challenge at the Paper Craft Crew.  Here's our sketch this week    I'm using some designer papers called Merry Moments combined with Festival of Trees stamp and greeting from Teeny Tiny Sentiments.  The cardstock used is Whisper White and Smoky Slate with inks of Old Olive and Real Red.  The greeting comes from the Teeny Tiny Sentiments stamp set and has been punched out with the Washi Tape punch. Here's a closer look.  I love how the Designer papers add so much colour this this card.  The Festival of trees stamp has been combined with the Tree punch for this card. Light up your Christmas

Hi Everyone, You all know how I love my Easel Cards right?  Well I've added a little light to them in the form of the little battery operated candles.  Neil bought me some boxes of them online.  I've been playing around with a couple of different designs which are for an upcoming class of very Special Christmas cards with my group but thought you might like to see them.  This is the first one I've done using the retired stamp set Christmas Lodge.  It's a gorgeous set with this beautiful tree and really suits a vintage style Christmas Card.  I've also used the Deco Label Framelits which are fast becoming a favourite and the Beautifully Baroque and Fancy Fan Embossing Folders. The Cardstock is Cherry Cobbler, Early Espresso, Crumb Cake and Very Vanilla. I have the light on so you can see the gorgeous effect from the little candle.  Here is a photo when it's off.
