A Happy Birthday Card for Happy Tuesday,


Hi Everyone,

How are you this Happy Tuesday?

My daughter has requested a Birthday Card for her friend who is having a party this weekend.  Her only suggestion for me was that she likes Aqua.

Apparently nothing already made in my stash fits the bill, so had to make another.  This is my first attempt..LOL.



The cardstock used is Coastal Cabana, Island Indigo and Whisper White.  I've used the Hearts a Flutter Framelits to create the little banner in the corner and used the stamp set Another Great Year for both the stamped image on the card and the little cupcake which was coloured with blender pens and markers and cut and mounted on the banner.  Below is a closeup of the cupcake.



I'll let you know tomorrow whether this card is deemed acceptable by my daughter....Lol.

Hello Everyone, Welcome to our Wednesday card sketch challenge at the Paper Craft Crew.  Here's our sketch this week    I'm using some designer papers called Merry Moments combined with Festival of Trees stamp and greeting from Teeny Tiny Sentiments.  The cardstock used is Whisper White and Smoky Slate with inks of Old Olive and Real Red.  The greeting comes from the Teeny Tiny Sentiments stamp set and has been punched out with the Washi Tape punch. Here's a closer look.  I love how the Designer papers add so much colour this this card.  The Festival of trees stamp has been combined with the Tree punch for this card. Light up your Christmas

Hi Everyone, You all know how I love my Easel Cards right?  Well I've added a little light to them in the form of the little battery operated candles.  Neil bought me some boxes of them online.  I've been playing around with a couple of different designs which are for an upcoming class of very Special Christmas cards with my group but thought you might like to see them.  This is the first one I've done using the retired stamp set Christmas Lodge.  It's a gorgeous set with this beautiful tree and really suits a vintage style Christmas Card.  I've also used the Deco Label Framelits which are fast becoming a favourite and the Beautifully Baroque and Fancy Fan Embossing Folders. The Cardstock is Cherry Cobbler, Early Espresso, Crumb Cake and Very Vanilla. I have the light on so you can see the gorgeous effect from the little candle.  Here is a photo when it's off.
