Thinking of You Butterfly Card


Hello Everyone,

How's your Thursday treating you?  Weather is fine here.  The Sun is shining and we are in need of some more rain, but it was slightly cooler overnight, so the change in seasons is coming.

You may have wondered what has been happening lately.  It's been a long time between Butterfly cards, lol.  I am about to rectify that today.  I was having butterfly withdrawals.  Here's my beautiful big layered butterfly.


I've used the Beautiful Butterflies and Beautiful Wings dies to create the layers of my butterfly out of cardstock and patterned papers.  The cardstock used is Crisp Cantaloupe, Crumb Cake and Whisper White.  I've used the sequins for the centre of the butterfly and I've used the Deco Label and Oval Framelits to create the frame.  Here is the full shot of the card.


I've also used the Pretty Prints embossing folder on the Whisper White background and the greeting is from the set Teeny Tiny Sentiments.  So what do you think of this card?  Ahh butterflies.

Hello Everyone, Welcome to our Wednesday card sketch challenge at the Paper Craft Crew.  Here's our sketch this week    I'm using some designer papers called Merry Moments combined with Festival of Trees stamp and greeting from Teeny Tiny Sentiments.  The cardstock used is Whisper White and Smoky Slate with inks of Old Olive and Real Red.  The greeting comes from the Teeny Tiny Sentiments stamp set and has been punched out with the Washi Tape punch. Here's a closer look.  I love how the Designer papers add so much colour this this card.  The Festival of trees stamp has been combined with the Tree punch for this card. Light up your Christmas

Hi Everyone, You all know how I love my Easel Cards right?  Well I've added a little light to them in the form of the little battery operated candles.  Neil bought me some boxes of them online.  I've been playing around with a couple of different designs which are for an upcoming class of very Special Christmas cards with my group but thought you might like to see them.  This is the first one I've done using the retired stamp set Christmas Lodge.  It's a gorgeous set with this beautiful tree and really suits a vintage style Christmas Card.  I've also used the Deco Label Framelits which are fast becoming a favourite and the Beautifully Baroque and Fancy Fan Embossing Folders. The Cardstock is Cherry Cobbler, Early Espresso, Crumb Cake and Very Vanilla. I have the light on so you can see the gorgeous effect from the little candle.  Here is a photo when it's off.
