Make a Wish - CASE

Hi Everyone,

Welcome relief today with some showers happening overnight and today.  I know, it's been a long time coming and a long hot dry Summer here.  We are truly enjoying the change.

Today's card was inspired by my good friend and fellow SU Demonstrator Vicki.  We do a monthly swap with each other and she sent me this really cool card which I had admired online.  Just follow the link to see the original card and post.  CASE means copy and share everything.  When I saw her card, I knew I wanted to make one of my own, just like it and I actually taught this card at class today.  It was the favourite card of the 3 we made.  Thanks Vicki.

Here's my version


I've used Perfect Pennants stamp set along with Secret Garden, Petite Petals, Papillon Potpourri and Hardwood background.  I've also used Scallop Tag topper punch, Chalk Talk framelits and Decorative Label punch.  The cardstock is Always Artichoke, Sahara Sand, Whisper White and Baked brown sugar with a little dsp from the Sweet Sorbet pack.  Also also added some Crochet trim to the tag tied off with some Linen thread.  There is a closer look.

Hello Everyone, Welcome to our Wednesday card sketch challenge at the Paper Craft Crew.  Here's our sketch this week    I'm using some designer papers called Merry Moments combined with Festival of Trees stamp and greeting from Teeny Tiny Sentiments.  The cardstock used is Whisper White and Smoky Slate with inks of Old Olive and Real Red.  The greeting comes from the Teeny Tiny Sentiments stamp set and has been punched out with the Washi Tape punch. Here's a closer look.  I love how the Designer papers add so much colour this this card.  The Festival of trees stamp has been combined with the Tree punch for this card. Light up your Christmas

Hi Everyone, You all know how I love my Easel Cards right?  Well I've added a little light to them in the form of the little battery operated candles.  Neil bought me some boxes of them online.  I've been playing around with a couple of different designs which are for an upcoming class of very Special Christmas cards with my group but thought you might like to see them.  This is the first one I've done using the retired stamp set Christmas Lodge.  It's a gorgeous set with this beautiful tree and really suits a vintage style Christmas Card.  I've also used the Deco Label Framelits which are fast becoming a favourite and the Beautifully Baroque and Fancy Fan Embossing Folders. The Cardstock is Cherry Cobbler, Early Espresso, Crumb Cake and Very Vanilla. I have the light on so you can see the gorgeous effect from the little candle.  Here is a photo when it's off.
