I (Heart) U for Valentine's Day

Hello Everyone,

How was your weekend.  Mine was pretty cool catching up with friends both online and in person.

Don't u love that?  I love to socialise and speak to other Mums and Dads particularly when I'm going solo a lot of the time with the girls to take them to their events like Birthday parties.  Great to sit and have a coffee while waiting for the girls to get out the pool.

Today I have another Valentine's Day card that I've made.  Not that I need it myself, but I do supply some cards to a shop. 


I suppose you could say this one is a little more masculine in colourings.  The Cardstock is Crumb Cake, Basic Black, Whisper White & Raspberry Ripple/pool party (I Heart You).  I didn't have any Real Red, which would have been a closer colour match to the patterned paper from the Fresh Prints stack.  The Black background was embossed with the Arrows embossing folder and the Large Crumb Cake Heart with the Decorative dots embossing folder.  I've stamped and cut one smaller heart with the Hearts a Flutter set and punched smaller ones for layering with the small Heart punch.  The Large hearts come from the Hearts Collection framelits set.  Here is a closeup of the Heart centre.

Hello Everyone, Welcome to our Wednesday card sketch challenge at the Paper Craft Crew.  Here's our sketch this week    I'm using some designer papers called Merry Moments combined with Festival of Trees stamp and greeting from Teeny Tiny Sentiments.  The cardstock used is Whisper White and Smoky Slate with inks of Old Olive and Real Red.  The greeting comes from the Teeny Tiny Sentiments stamp set and has been punched out with the Washi Tape punch. Here's a closer look.  I love how the Designer papers add so much colour this this card.  The Festival of trees stamp has been combined with the Tree punch for this card. Light up your Christmas

Hi Everyone, You all know how I love my Easel Cards right?  Well I've added a little light to them in the form of the little battery operated candles.  Neil bought me some boxes of them online.  I've been playing around with a couple of different designs which are for an upcoming class of very Special Christmas cards with my group but thought you might like to see them.  This is the first one I've done using the retired stamp set Christmas Lodge.  It's a gorgeous set with this beautiful tree and really suits a vintage style Christmas Card.  I've also used the Deco Label Framelits which are fast becoming a favourite and the Beautifully Baroque and Fancy Fan Embossing Folders. The Cardstock is Cherry Cobbler, Early Espresso, Crumb Cake and Very Vanilla. I have the light on so you can see the gorgeous effect from the little candle.  Here is a photo when it's off.
