Happy Butterflies

Hi Everyone,

I was in the mood for some butterflies today.  They always lift my spirits, plus I missed them as I've been working on other things last few days.

The only stamping on today's card is the Greeting from the Itty Bitty Banners stamp set which is stamped in Real Red ink.  I've used papers from the Fresh Prints paper stack on my card panel and the smaller butterfies.  The butterflies are layered and punched with Elegant Butterfly and Bitty Butterfly punches.




It's a clean style of card with Basic Black, Whisper White and Coastal Cabana Card.  The white panel has been embossed with the Decorative Dots embossing folder.








The inside of the card is shown below, so you can see how the front black panel of the card is shortened and the Coastal Cabana protrudes over the front edge.


I also lined the inside of the back panel with Whisper White card.

Hello Everyone, Welcome to our Wednesday card sketch challenge at the Paper Craft Crew.  Here's our sketch this week    I'm using some designer papers called Merry Moments combined with Festival of Trees stamp and greeting from Teeny Tiny Sentiments.  The cardstock used is Whisper White and Smoky Slate with inks of Old Olive and Real Red.  The greeting comes from the Teeny Tiny Sentiments stamp set and has been punched out with the Washi Tape punch. Here's a closer look.  I love how the Designer papers add so much colour this this card.  The Festival of trees stamp has been combined with the Tree punch for this card. Light up your Christmas

Hi Everyone, You all know how I love my Easel Cards right?  Well I've added a little light to them in the form of the little battery operated candles.  Neil bought me some boxes of them online.  I've been playing around with a couple of different designs which are for an upcoming class of very Special Christmas cards with my group but thought you might like to see them.  This is the first one I've done using the retired stamp set Christmas Lodge.  It's a gorgeous set with this beautiful tree and really suits a vintage style Christmas Card.  I've also used the Deco Label Framelits which are fast becoming a favourite and the Beautifully Baroque and Fancy Fan Embossing Folders. The Cardstock is Cherry Cobbler, Early Espresso, Crumb Cake and Very Vanilla. I have the light on so you can see the gorgeous effect from the little candle.  Here is a photo when it's off.
