Happy Birthday to You

Hi Everyone,

February seems to be the Birthday month and in fact we have a couple this week that I need cards for.  Today's card is a Birthday card which I've made for one of my daughter's friends for an upcoming party.

Here is the picture below. 


I've used the large Birthday greeting from the Stamp set another great year as the main feature and fussy cut it out layering it onto some banners.  The patterned paper is from the pack Winter Frost and the cardstock is Bermuda Bay, Whisper White, Coastal Cabana and Silver Glimmer.  I've used the Petite Petals stamp set and matching punch for one little flower and the Beautiful Wings die for some butterflies.  Closeup of the detail is shown here.



I'm happy with the sparkle here.  The whole combo is quite pretty.  I hope the Birthday Girl likes it too.

Hello Everyone, Welcome to our Wednesday card sketch challenge at the Paper Craft Crew.  Here's our sketch this week    I'm using some designer papers called Merry Moments combined with Festival of Trees stamp and greeting from Teeny Tiny Sentiments.  The cardstock used is Whisper White and Smoky Slate with inks of Old Olive and Real Red.  The greeting comes from the Teeny Tiny Sentiments stamp set and has been punched out with the Washi Tape punch. Here's a closer look.  I love how the Designer papers add so much colour this this card.  The Festival of trees stamp has been combined with the Tree punch for this card. Light up your Christmas

Hi Everyone, You all know how I love my Easel Cards right?  Well I've added a little light to them in the form of the little battery operated candles.  Neil bought me some boxes of them online.  I've been playing around with a couple of different designs which are for an upcoming class of very Special Christmas cards with my group but thought you might like to see them.  This is the first one I've done using the retired stamp set Christmas Lodge.  It's a gorgeous set with this beautiful tree and really suits a vintage style Christmas Card.  I've also used the Deco Label Framelits which are fast becoming a favourite and the Beautifully Baroque and Fancy Fan Embossing Folders. The Cardstock is Cherry Cobbler, Early Espresso, Crumb Cake and Very Vanilla. I have the light on so you can see the gorgeous effect from the little candle.  Here is a photo when it's off.
