Paper Craft Crew Sketch Challenge #76 - A Valentine's Card

Hello from Downunder,

How are you all today?

Are you coping with the heat here in Australia, or are you visiting me from the Northern Hemisphere dealing with the cold there?  Wednesday means it's time for this weeks challenge  Paper Craft Crew.  Here is the sketch for today.

I wanted to mention there are some fabulous creations by the Design Team this week and if you are visiting here from Australia or New Zealand it gives you a fabulous sneak peek into the new products headed our way soon.  You will want to visit the site and check them out for yourself.

This is the card I've made based on today's Sketch.  I might add, it's very loosely based on the sketch.

I've used the Label Thinlits Card framelit to create this card.  They make a flip style card.  This is the front and below is a closeup of the centre.

The cardstock used is Basic Black, Whisper White, Cherry Cobbler and Silver Glimmer.  I've also used some paper from the new paper stack called Fresh Prints and a new stamp on the front label here called Perfect Pennants for the "You & Me" which was inked with Pool Party and Cherry Cobbler markers.  The basic black card has also been stamped with the Gorgeous Grunge stamp set and Illuminate ink in a few places.

Next is the flip side of the card.  The extra hearts come from the Hearts a Flutter stamp set and framelits and the small ones from the small Heart punch.

Finally the back view of the card, completely turned around.

I added a panel of white card to the back for writing a personal message.  Bit difficult to write on black card, unless you have a white pen, Lol!.

We hope you will join us this week over at the Paper Craft Crew with a creation of your own.  Would love to see you there.  Thanks so much for calling in to see my Valentine's Day creation.

Have a great day.
