Paper Craft Crew Sketch Challenge #74



Hello from Downunder,

Happy New Year

It's Wednesday which means its time for another sketch challenge at The Paper Craft Crew

Here is this week's sketch

The theme for this weeks card is Celebration or New Year so I was happy to oblige with a colourful card to see in 2014.

I did change up the layout slightly and instead of using the Label Framelit shap as above in the sketch I made a Heart Shaped Window with the Hearts Collection Framelits, added numbers stamped and punched on Circles with the Memorable moments stamp set and embellished with some punched layered blossoms, Boho Blossom punch and Bitty punch and Circle Thinlit framelits for arrow and chevrons.  The inks were Gumball Green, Primrose Petals, Pacific Point and Summer Starfruit.  The Ribbon is a retired SAB one.  Cardstock used is Pacific Point, Raspberry Ripple, Basic Black, Whisper White, Gumball green, Summer Starfruit and Primrose Petals.  My black card was embossed with the Fancy Fan embossing folder.

Hello Everyone, Welcome to our Wednesday card sketch challenge at the Paper Craft Crew.  Here's our sketch this week    I'm using some designer papers called Merry Moments combined with Festival of Trees stamp and greeting from Teeny Tiny Sentiments.  The cardstock used is Whisper White and Smoky Slate with inks of Old Olive and Real Red.  The greeting comes from the Teeny Tiny Sentiments stamp set and has been punched out with the Washi Tape punch. Here's a closer look.  I love how the Designer papers add so much colour this this card.  The Festival of trees stamp has been combined with the Tree punch for this card. Light up your Christmas

Hi Everyone, You all know how I love my Easel Cards right?  Well I've added a little light to them in the form of the little battery operated candles.  Neil bought me some boxes of them online.  I've been playing around with a couple of different designs which are for an upcoming class of very Special Christmas cards with my group but thought you might like to see them.  This is the first one I've done using the retired stamp set Christmas Lodge.  It's a gorgeous set with this beautiful tree and really suits a vintage style Christmas Card.  I've also used the Deco Label Framelits which are fast becoming a favourite and the Beautifully Baroque and Fancy Fan Embossing Folders. The Cardstock is Cherry Cobbler, Early Espresso, Crumb Cake and Very Vanilla. I have the light on so you can see the gorgeous effect from the little candle.  Here is a photo when it's off.
