Some cards using Retired Products

Hi Everyone,

I've been making a few cards lately to use some older stock from a retired Paper Stack, old In Colours and a retired Sizzlits die that wasn't used when it was current.

These are the result


This card has a base of Naturals White card, a layer of Crumb Cake embossed with Flower Garden embossing folder, Flower burst sizzlits and Blushing Bride Dsp.  I've also used a Ribbon Slide, another retired product from the Hodgepodge Hardware.  This card was inspired by the work of some other talented demonstrators seen on our SU Global site.

Here is a closer look.

The greeting is stamped directly on the Crumb Cake card with Itty Bitty Banners stamps.

This card uses Dsp of Concord Crush (retired colour), some old ruffled Ribbon in Regal rose, Elegant Lines Embossing folder and Flowers in Wisteria Wonder, Melon Mambo and Pretty in Pink.  The base is also Wisteria Wonder.  The greeting is from the set Perfect Punches.

Here is the third card I've made using a Base and Dsp of Peach Parfait (retired).

This time I've used Vine St embossing folder, greeting from Wordplay and flowers in Blushing Bride, Whisper White and Pumpkin Pie.

    I really liked Concord Crush. sigh. This middle card does well with the colours. Really like the emboss folder used at the back of the first one too. Vx

Hello Everyone, Welcome to our Wednesday card sketch challenge at the Paper Craft Crew.  Here's our sketch this week    I'm using some designer papers called Merry Moments combined with Festival of Trees stamp and greeting from Teeny Tiny Sentiments.  The cardstock used is Whisper White and Smoky Slate with inks of Old Olive and Real Red.  The greeting comes from the Teeny Tiny Sentiments stamp set and has been punched out with the Washi Tape punch. Here's a closer look.  I love how the Designer papers add so much colour this this card.  The Festival of trees stamp has been combined with the Tree punch for this card. Light up your Christmas

Hi Everyone, You all know how I love my Easel Cards right?  Well I've added a little light to them in the form of the little battery operated candles.  Neil bought me some boxes of them online.  I've been playing around with a couple of different designs which are for an upcoming class of very Special Christmas cards with my group but thought you might like to see them.  This is the first one I've done using the retired stamp set Christmas Lodge.  It's a gorgeous set with this beautiful tree and really suits a vintage style Christmas Card.  I've also used the Deco Label Framelits which are fast becoming a favourite and the Beautifully Baroque and Fancy Fan Embossing Folders. The Cardstock is Cherry Cobbler, Early Espresso, Crumb Cake and Very Vanilla. I have the light on so you can see the gorgeous effect from the little candle.  Here is a photo when it's off.
