Paper Craft Crew Sketch Challenge #40


Hello All,

It's time once again for the Sketch Challenge over at the Paper Craft Crew this week.

videogram cover image I've decided to go masculine with this weeks sketch, after last week's Mother's Day cards.  Make sure you go over and see what the other Design Team Members have made for your inspiration too.  We would love to see you join in with our sketch challenge at the Paper Craft Crew.

Here is my card using Need for Speed stamp set


Yes, I've taken a few liberties with the sketch, adhereing to it for my top panel, but turning it into an Easel Card.  The cardstock for the base is Midnight Muse and the papers come from the Print Poetry Paper stack.  I've also used the Four Frames stamp set as a base for my Happy Birthday greeting.

    I like the extra banners you used. Especially matching one on the base of the card with the greeting. Vx

Hello Everyone, Welcome to our Wednesday card sketch challenge at the Paper Craft Crew.  Here's our sketch this week    I'm using some designer papers called Merry Moments combined with Festival of Trees stamp and greeting from Teeny Tiny Sentiments.  The cardstock used is Whisper White and Smoky Slate with inks of Old Olive and Real Red.  The greeting comes from the Teeny Tiny Sentiments stamp set and has been punched out with the Washi Tape punch. Here's a closer look.  I love how the Designer papers add so much colour this this card.  The Festival of trees stamp has been combined with the Tree punch for this card. Light up your Christmas

Hi Everyone, You all know how I love my Easel Cards right?  Well I've added a little light to them in the form of the little battery operated candles.  Neil bought me some boxes of them online.  I've been playing around with a couple of different designs which are for an upcoming class of very Special Christmas cards with my group but thought you might like to see them.  This is the first one I've done using the retired stamp set Christmas Lodge.  It's a gorgeous set with this beautiful tree and really suits a vintage style Christmas Card.  I've also used the Deco Label Framelits which are fast becoming a favourite and the Beautifully Baroque and Fancy Fan Embossing Folders. The Cardstock is Cherry Cobbler, Early Espresso, Crumb Cake and Very Vanilla. I have the light on so you can see the gorgeous effect from the little candle.  Here is a photo when it's off.
