Paper Craft Crew Sketch Challenge #35

Hello Everyone,

Welcome to my blog from Queensland, Australia.  The sun is shining and it's a perfect day.  It's time once again for the Paper Craft Crew Sketch Challenge.  Here is my card for the Design Team.

The sketch is quite simple.  It's up to you how much detail you would like to add.  I've used the Oh Hello set for my centre image, coloured with markers direct to the rubber and cut out with the Labels Framelits.  My patterned paper is from the pack called Tea for Two  and I have partially embossed the background (Pink Pirouette) and the Label Matt (Crumb Cake) with the Lacy Brocade Embossing Folder.  Added Lace and Brad gives a Vintage Feel to this card as well as a little inking along the edges.  The buttons are from the Twitterpated pack and the greeting is a single stamp purchased in a kit called Pop-Up Posies Designer Kit.

    Love the divided t for 2 dsp in the background. Didn't know any stamps came with the Posies kit? Very sweet. Vx

Hello Everyone, Welcome to our Wednesday card sketch challenge at the Paper Craft Crew.  Here's our sketch this week    I'm using some designer papers called Merry Moments combined with Festival of Trees stamp and greeting from Teeny Tiny Sentiments.  The cardstock used is Whisper White and Smoky Slate with inks of Old Olive and Real Red.  The greeting comes from the Teeny Tiny Sentiments stamp set and has been punched out with the Washi Tape punch. Here's a closer look.  I love how the Designer papers add so much colour this this card.  The Festival of trees stamp has been combined with the Tree punch for this card. Light up your Christmas

Hi Everyone, You all know how I love my Easel Cards right?  Well I've added a little light to them in the form of the little battery operated candles.  Neil bought me some boxes of them online.  I've been playing around with a couple of different designs which are for an upcoming class of very Special Christmas cards with my group but thought you might like to see them.  This is the first one I've done using the retired stamp set Christmas Lodge.  It's a gorgeous set with this beautiful tree and really suits a vintage style Christmas Card.  I've also used the Deco Label Framelits which are fast becoming a favourite and the Beautifully Baroque and Fancy Fan Embossing Folders. The Cardstock is Cherry Cobbler, Early Espresso, Crumb Cake and Very Vanilla. I have the light on so you can see the gorgeous effect from the little candle.  Here is a photo when it's off.
