The Paper Players

Image
Hi Everyone, I've decided to join in the Paper Players Challenge this week .....and just in the nick of time here is my card.  It's a Centre Stepped Card I've taken a little bit of creative license here, not making my card exactly as the sketch, but I think the integrity of the design remains.  What do you think?  I often like to try something a bit different.  I love the look of the flocked dsp window sheet from the Candlelight Christmas Specialty pack.  Against white the pattern really stands out.  I've used the Snow Flurry die, some Champagne Glimmer and the greeting is from the Stamp Set Greetings of the Season. Here is a closer look at the Snowflake Here is the sketch that the card was based on by Jaydee Thanks for popping by and don't forget to leave me a comment.  I really appreciate them.

Paper Craft Crew Sketch Challenge #18

Image
Hi Everyone, I'm in early this week for the next challenge at Paper Craft Crew Here is my card I've used the First Edition Dsp with Cardstock of Raspberry Ripple, Basic Black, Crumb Cake, Primrose Pink and Very Vanilla.  The greeting is from Apothecary Art stamp set and has been stamped in Stazon ink.  The Bloom is from Blooming with Kindness set and was inked with Primrose Pink pad then touches of Rasperry Ripple was added to the rubber with a marker prior to stamping.  I've also used Windows Framelits and co-ordinating piercing template and embossing folders of Fancy Fan and Delicate Designs border.  It's based on the sketch below. Here is the challenge! I hope you've enjoyed stopping by to view my card.  Hope you'll visit me again soon.

Paper Craft Crew Sketch #17

Image
Hi Everyone, I missed the cutoff for last week's sketch.  Here's hoping I can make it in time this week. Here is the sketch from Paper Craft Crew  And my card  I've used the stamp set Blooming with Kindness for this card, with Cardstock of Wisteria Wonder, Elegant Eggplant, Whisper White and Brushed Gold.  I've also used Beautiful Wings Embosslits and Lacy Brocade Embossing Folder.  I've cut the bloom out with Framelits labels die and sprayed it with Shimmer Mist, although the photo doesn't pick that up. Now I also made another card and couldn't decide which I liked best. Here is my second card Two step stamping is not my strong point.  I probably need a bit more practice, Lol, .  Ive used Field of Flowers with this card and greeting from Blooming with kindness.  Field of Flowers stamp set has been sitting on my shelf gathering dust and I really thought I should use it.  I've also used retired papers Paisley Petals on this car

CWA Christmas Craft Fair

Image
Hi Everyone, I thought I would share a few pictures of my table at the Craft Fair from this morning.  While many of you that attend or participate in much larger Fairs may be used to seeing a more professional and elaborate display, I find this suits me.  It's quite a small venue.  The tables are provided and the cost is minimal and it's local, only 5 minutes from home. Here are some photos with my eldest daughter Karree sitting at our table, I was behind the camera at the time. My youngest daughter Anna didn't want to be photographed today.  She has just had braces put on Thursday and was feeling quite uncomfortable.  I sent the girls to the pharmacy to get some Bonjella for her.  I'm happy to report that most of the Calendar Easels and Post it Note holders sold.  I have found that the items that can be viewed on the table sell better than those in the stands, boxes and baskets.  Not many will take the time to look through them, although they do save room w

More Christmas Craft Fair Goodies

Image
Hi Everyone, This is the eve of the Christmas Craft Fair I'm participating in tomorrow morning.  I have a few more things to share, including some food. These are some Christmas Coffee Mugs that I purchased and filled with some treats, then wrapped in cellophane and added our Tag to the front, ready for gift giving. I've used the Snow Festival designer tags from the Holiday Mini on the packaging.  It's an idea from the Mini itself.  Below is the picture of the cup and contents before wrapping, as it's hard to tell otherwise. I've added a couple of candy canes, so the recipient has the option of sharing (or not!) I've also made my Famous Sugar Coated Peanuts, which I usually make every Christmas for Family and friends, but this year have decided to spread the love and see if others like them, and if they will sell.  I'll have to remember the Warning about Peanut allergies though.  No Free Tastings just in case. I've used the Friendship
